5 Essential Ingredients You Need This Spring

It is officially Spring and that means everything fresh, bright, and colorful. And that goes for your food as well! Luckily, we have prepared a list of our five essential ingredients you will need this season. These ingredients are versatile and delicious and can be incorporated into many different recipes to step into Spring.

Arugula

 

So what's the deal with arugula? It's delicious, it's in season, and it's amazing for you. There are a lot of health benefits when it comes to eating Arugula. To just name a few....it cleanses and detoxifies the body, helps reduce inflammation, and is a cancer-fighting power food.

Some of our favorite arugula dishes include Citrus Salad with Mint Vinaigrette, Fettucine with Arugula and Ricotta, Salad with Prosciutto, Arugula, and Mozarella, and Curried Chicken, Arugula, and Pineapple.

 

 

Spinach

 

Springtime and fresh spinach...is there a better combination? Spinach is a superfood and is loaded with nutrients, vitamins, and minerals. It also does wonders for skin, hair, and bone health.
