Plan The Perfect Summer Picnic with Thermomix®
Orange Balsamic Beet and Quinoa Salad
Starting off with the main course, we recommend an Orange Balsamic Beet and Quinoa Salad. It’s fresh, delicious, and full of important nutrients. And it only takes 10 minutes to prepare, so it is perfect to make the day of. A helpful tip is to store the dressing separately from the salad so the lettuce doesn’t get soggy.
Cheddar & Walnut Scones with Onion Jam
The perfect picnic snack…These scones take a little under 30 minutes to prepare but have a longer cooking time so be sure to plan accordingly. The serving size feeds about six people but if you have the munchies you may want to make a few extra. And some useful items to make sure these turn out perfect include parchment paper, a pastry brush, and a baking sheet. Enjoy!
Mac & Cheese Muffins
These Mac & Cheese Muffins combined two of our favorite things so we highly recommend doubling or even tripling this recipe because these are bound to go quickly. For perfect results, check out these tips and tricks from our Recipe Development Team below:
- To unmold muffins: run a knife around the edges of each muffin hole and remove gently.
- Line muffin pan with paper cups instead of spraying with oil.
Mango Blackberry Spritzer
Would a picnic be complete without a spritzer? The answer is no. And this Mango Blackberry Spritzer isn’t just any spritzer…It’s a Cookidoo® approved spritzer that tastes like Summer in a drink. So bring it to your picnic, sit back, sip on it, and relax.
Strawberry Lemonade Cupcakes
And last but not least, every picnic calls for a dessert, and these Strawberry Lemonade Cupcakes are the way to go. With Thermomix®, they are pretty simple to prepare it doesn’t hurt to take some pointers from our Recipe Development Team:
- If the icing is too soft to pipe: refrigerate for a few minutes before frosting.
- Refrigerate frosting if not using immediately, but bring it back to room temperature before using.
