Surprisingly useful and attractive on your table.

"I've only had this bowl for a short time, but I used it after cooking jasmine rice in the TM7, and it was perfect for keeping it warm and moist. I have also used it for mashed potatoes. I added some grated cheese (thanks to the cutter!), stirred it in, and this bowl kept the potatoes fluffy and warm, while the cheese melted into the potatoes. Absolutely delicious! It is also great for a Waldorf Salad! The salad stays cold and crisp, and when you remove the lid, your dinner guests will be delighted! It is also an attractive bowl for your table, the picture doesn't do it justice. It holds the heat so well that I wish I had purchased the smaller version for gravies and sauces!"

Thermo serving bowl

"I love these bowls because I am from Australia and we used them to complement the Thermomix. We would make pasta sauce and keep it warm while we made pasta, or we would put our risotto in them to keep warm before serving, we would put rice in them to keep warm while we made main dish. I don't think they are explained well here how to use. They keep things hot and cold for about 2 hours. If I make sorbet I put it into the bowl to stop it melting. You can put ice or cold water in it to pre chill before adding cold food or boiling water from kettle to warm before adding hot food. Do not heat in the oven or you could damage the internal seal. I have numerous shapes and sizes and use them on the dinner table when we have guests. Think of them like a metal water bottle with a hollow core so it is cold on outside but hot or cold on inside. These are highly desirable in Australia even if you don't own a Thermomix. They need to come with instructions in the USA."
